"Sustainable transport in Poland" - campaign of PZPM
| "Sustainable transport in Poland", campaign of PZPM, truck member companies and Rzeczpospolita on the occasion of World Mobility Week. Rzeczpospolita invited the Polish Automotive Industry Association to take patronage and jointly implement an editorial series in Rzeczpospolita. Member companies representing trucks took part in the project: Scania, Volvo, Man, IVECO, Daimler Truck, DAF, Renault Trucks.
In a series of 5 episodes, representatives of PZPM member companies spoke in the following areas: 18/09/23 Zero-emission trucks – market in Poland and abroad, prospects for their development in the light of the EU climate policy. - zero-emission truck transport as a goal of the EU climate policy, electrification of the fleets of Polish transport companies as a way to strengthen their competitiveness in Europe, profitability of electric trucks - when they will overtake combustion drives in this respect, the electric truck market in Poland and Europe and state support for investments in e-trucks as a necessary condition for development. 19/09/23 Episode II: Electrification of heavy road transport: including - emissions in transport - the importance of reducing them, methods, current and planned effects, characteristics of the transport sector in Poland, production of electric trucks, manufacturers' plans, characteristics of vehicles, service companies that have invested into zero-emission transport. 20/09/23 Episode III: E-truck charging infrastructure. Energy availability for charging networks: electric vehicle charging infrastructure - current status in Poland and abroad, development prospects and limitations. - E-vehicle charging infrastructure in Poland, AFIR and problems related to the implementation of goals in Poland, innovations and solutions in other European countries. 21/09/23 Episode IV: Development of technology in vehicles and related challenges: batteries, prospects for hydrogen and innovative solutions in electric trucks and hydrogen-powered trucks. 22/09/23 Episode V: World Car Free Day - how the transition to zero emissions will improve the quality of life of societies. |
